I would like to make a custom, non-humanoid avatar in blender. Within CLO, id like to import this .obj model and use the 3d avatar pen to draw lines, then flatten. Currently, I am having little success. The “pen” seems to fall through the surface at points. Also, when drawing something like a square on a flat plane to test the object’s workability within CLO, an error message pops up saying that lines cannot cross…when, to my view, the lines are not crossing. I am assuming my models are missing some vital properties that CLO needs to work properly. So, does anyone know exactly WHAT a model needs to have in order to work as an avatar within CLO3D? Quads or tri-mesh? A certain thickness? Outward facing normals, a certain amount of subdivision? Etc…TIA!
