I have worked on blockbuster films such as Avatar, Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit, and have been a Lead Modeler on shows such as Fast and the Furious 7 and Beauty and the Beast.</p><p>Currently I am a Senior Creature Modeler at Industrial Light and Magic where we recently worked on Aladdin and The Irishman.</p><p></p><h1><strong>Could you briefly introduce the theme/ concept of the artwork? and why did you choose Marvelous Designer?</strong></h1><p>This character is based on the 1922 movie Nosferatu. I wanted to create a modern-day version of this character on how I imagine he would look on the big screen. Everything on this asset was created from scratch.</p><p>A lot of thought when into the design of his costume. I wanted to keep it true to the original yet have it be a unique design to update his look. After looking at references and doing multiple concepts I figured out a look I was happy with. This way when it was fitted to the character I knew it would fit based on real world measurements. If something was not fitting perfectly it was just a matter of adjusting the pattern slightly and seeing the results updated immediately.</p><p></p><h1><strong>Would you recommend Marvelous Designer to other users? and why</strong></h1><p>100% I recommend using this software for its accuracy and speed. One is able to manually move around the simulation in real time and change the density of the mesh for more detail with breeze. Being a VFX artist we are always trying to mimic the real world and make things look realistic and natural. With Marvelous Designer as part of my tool bag, I am able to achieve this very quickly and has huge advantages to use in a production environment.
