<p>Hello, I have made some clothes in Marvelous designer. I want to make textures in other software like Substance painter or Photoshop. So is it possible to import those textures back in Marvelous designer to apply on clothes and export it as zprj format? If yes pls explain the procedure. Thank you.</p>

<p>Hello,</p><p><br>I am exporting meta data along with obj from CLO.<br>But I noticed that when I tick "Turned" on a Seam, it just exports whatever values were used for Fold Strength and Fold Angle before I clicked turned to the meta data file.<br>There is no information about the status of the Turned checkbox in the meat xml file.<br>And obviously, if I wanted to use the Fold information for rendering, etc, I would work with incorrect data if Turned is ticked.<br>I hope this makes sense.</p><p>Am I missing something?</p><p>Is there a way to get the information into the meta file?</p><p></p><p>Cheers,<br>Sebastian</p>

<p>Hi there CLO Team,</p><p>I noticed there have been a few threads where people are asking how to export a CLO3D Avatar with a native CLO3D Animation including textures, and import the CLO3D Avatar with Animation and Textures into Blender.</p><p>Also, here a CLO team member mentioned:</p><blockquote><p><em>-You can export an Alembic(OGAWA) to have the animation of the avatar + garment. If I decide I don't like Marvelous Designer and cancel before my trial ends, I'm assuming I won't get charged for the first month, correct? Free Trial and Multiple Desktops

<p>Hi there, I'm currently working on an external project for a client that requires me to create animations for traditional garments for a traditional dance animation. There's about 21 separate animations in total and most of them simulate without an issue with their respective animations, however for a handful of them I've encountered issues with the avatar where the garments start phasing and clipping into the avatar after the simulation ends. It's quite alarming and I am unsure how to fix this. The avatar and rigged animation was provided by my client through FBX format. I've already tried playing with increasing skin offset as well as subdividing the avatar's mesh but to no avail. How did the idea come to life?</strong></h1><p style="text-align: left">I usually spend a few days thinking through different ideas and potential stories, but one concept I kept returning to was a dystopian landscape where a fetus-like creature is birthed by a tribe.</p><p>Originally, the idea was to have a tribe of robots, long after humans had disappeared, giving birth to an organic being — a reversal of how AI is currently being created by humans today. How did Marvelous Designer fit into your pipeline?</strong></h1><p style="text-align: left">I primarily work in Unreal Engine 5, and I try to stay within it as much as possible. Being able to see everything in real-time means I can quickly iterate during the early stages — blocking out scenes with Quixel assets, setting up general lighting to establish mood, and even doing early colour grading all inside UE5.</p><p>For this project, I spent the first half focusing on the environment before moving on to the creature and cloth simulation. I knew I wanted the creature to feel unsettling yet recognizable, so I downloaded a slim female base character and animated her inside Unreal Engine, timing the movements so the face and limbs would press against the surface at key moments. I then exported the animation into Marvelous Designer.</p><p>Normally, you'd need a T-pose starting position, but because my character begins curled into a ball, I could skip that and go straight to wrapping a simple two-sided fabric around her.</p><p>I made the front of the cloth tight against the face and kept the back loose and baggy to create a fleshy, organic volume.
