I'm exporting simulated garments to OBJ and FBX formats. Everything exports fine except for the thickness. I set the garment thickness on the export panel but the export does not convert. I looked in the UV layout in Maya and was able to locate the edge polygons in the UV space, nicely laid out. But the actual 3d mesh of the thickness geometry was condensed into a strip of polygons (appearing as thin segments on the garment). Also, the front and back faces were not offset from each other, instead they occupied the same 3d space on top of each other.
