There's something magical about turning a traditionally casual fabric into something majestic. With Denim Royalty, I wanted to explore how far denim could go when treated like couture — structured, voluminous, and with a bit of drama.This look features a corseted upper silhouette that hugs the torso, balanced by two exaggerated puff sleeves that bring immediate visual impact. The sleeves are constructed with layered pattern pieces and volume modifiers to create a soft yet sculptural shape, mimicking the petals of a blooming flower — only in denim.The lower part flows into a siren skirt with a soft flare and a distressed edge finish. I intentionally kept the seams exposed and slightly frayed to contrast the gown-like structure with a sense of rawness and deconstruction. It’s a clash between elegance and edge — and I love that tension.Let me know — would you wear couture denim to a gala?
