Viewpoint always disapearing

I just want to set the camera for the final render in clo3d how do I do this, ive been trying to for 15 min and the only camera that works is the interactive one, the one for the final render is just stuck on some default camera, why is this so convoluted. Googling shows stuff regarding animation, i dont need any of that i just want a picture and i want to dictate where the camera goes.
